Meet Webb City Middle School's Admin Team
MR. JEFF BROWN
Principal
Mr. Brown is honored to serve as the Principal of Webb City Middle School, bringing with him 19 years of diverse experience in education. Throughout his career, he has been deeply committed to supporting teachers, building strong relationships with students, and fostering a positive school culture. Mr. Brown is passionate about education and views his role as an opportunity to serve as a resource and advocate for both teachers and students.
Before his current role, Mr. Brown spent four years as the Assistant Principal at Webb City High School. Prior to his time in Webb City, he dedicated thirteen years to the Joplin School District. There, he taught Special Education, Business, and Dual Credit Psychology. He also served as the Career Services Coordinator at Franklin Technology Center, where he helped students explore and prepare for career opportunities. After leaving Joplin, Mr. Brown served as the Assistant Principal at Seneca High School.
Mr. Brown holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Missouri Valley College, a Master's degree in School and Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri, and an Educational Specialist degree in Administration from Arkansas State University.
When he is not at school, he enjoys cheering for the KC Royals, hunting, and spending time with his wife and two young children on their small farm.
Mr. Brown is excited to continue investing in the Webb City School District and community, working together with families, staff, and students to ensure a thriving future.
MR. NATHAN DINGMAN
Assistant Principal
Mr. Dingman has been a dedicated member of the Webb City School District since 2013. During his tenure, he has taught high school mathematics, coached baseball and girls’ basketball, and served as a District Instructional Coach before transitioning into his current role as Assistant Principal at Webb City Middle School. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from Northwest Missouri State University and his Master’s degree in Educational Technology from Pittsburg State University. Mr. Dingman is an active member of the district’s Instructional Leadership Team, contributing to ongoing academic and instructional initiatives.
He and his wife, Karen, have been married for 18 years and are the proud parents of four children: Ben, Cole, Andrew, and Luke. Outside of his professional responsibilities, Mr. Dingman enjoys spending time with his family and working on the farm.
MRS. DENISE POWLEY
Assistant Principal
Denise Powley joins Webster Primary and Webb City Middle School as Assistant Principal, bringing with her 22 years of experience in public education. Throughout her career, she has served in both teaching and leadership roles across all grade levels, from Early Childhood to Upper Elementary. Her professional journey includes over a decade of service in the Cassville and Carthage School Districts, as well as several years of teaching in Texas. Most recently, she served in the mountains of New Mexico as an Academic and Behavior Specialist and as an Elementary School Administrator.
Mrs. Powley holds dual bachelor's degrees in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Texas Tech University, a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a Reading Specialty from Drury University, and an Administrator Degree from CES in New Mexico.
She and her husband, Gerald, have five young adult children and are proud to call Southwest Missouri home. In her free time, Mrs. Powley enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, camping, and being with family and friends.
